Applications for the 25/26 Academic Year are now closed.

  • Applications were open from 24th February – 3rd March 2025.
  • Successful applications will be chosen by random lottery, not on a first come first served basis. 
  • Once we have completed the lottery and allocation process, we will be in contact with all applicants to inform them if they were successful or not. This process will take a few weeks and we will be in touch end of March / early April. 
  • Successful applicants will be asked to pay their Security Deposit within 7 days of their room offer. 
  • Keep an eye on this website, we may reopen our Wait List at a later date.
  • All applicants who were not successful in the lottery will be placed on the Wait List. Any further applications received once the Wait List opens up again will be added in order of application.

Bookings will open on Monday 24th February at 12 noon and will close on Monday 3rd March.

We may reopen our wait list at a later date, depending on application numbers. Please keep an eye on our website for updates.

Please read below BEFORE submitting your application:

  • When you start your application you will be asked to put in your email address to receive a security code, please note this email may go into your junk / spam folder.
  • You will require your PPS number for your application (this is required to register your tenancy with the RTB if your application is successful) If you are an international student who does not have a PPS number please enter the number: 1234567A
  • You will be asked to select your preferred room type, if the room type that you prefer is fully booked you will have the option to join the wait list for this room type.
  • A Booking Deposit equal to one months rent is payable on booking. All charges can be seen on our Rates Page. There is no deposit required to join the waitlist.
  • Please review the Terms & Conditions of Living in Gateway Apartments by M&C before completing your application.
  • You can only select one room type, please only apply for a room type that you wish to accept.
  • Once you have submitted your application you will receive a confirmation email to confirm we have received your application, please note this email may also go into your junk / spam folder.
  • Only submit one application, duplicates will be deleted and will not increase your chances of being successful. 

Gateway Apartments is a purpose built student complex of 110x 2-bedroom apartments, the only on campus accommodation at ATU Sligo. Winters Property Management manage 26 of these apartments.

Once you have been assigned a room at Gateway you can click on the ‘Student Portal’ button below to access your Gateway Apartments account which contains your financial statement, allows you to pay online, report maintenance issues, access your lease agreement and other features.
