We are delighted to announce that M&C Property have recently completed the acquisition of O’Connor Shannon Estate Agents. O’Connor Shannon was established in 1995 as a boutique estate agency with a particular focus on the Dublin residential and investment markets. The Pre’ 63 multi-unit market has been a particular speciality where a considerable level of knowledge and expertise has been honed over the past 29 years.
M&C Property and O’Connor Shannon have been progressing on similar business paths for many years and share the same ethos in terms of customer service, integrity, and focus. Commenting on the transaction, Coleman Connor said ‘We are delighted to continue our journey with such a progressive and reputable firm, which enables us to achieve a broader nationwide reach and ensure a more comprehensive range of services for our clients.”
Donogh Madigan said,
“This is quite a strategic acquisition for M&C and we are excited to support the onward expansion of the O’Connor Shannon brand while at the same time extending M&C’s comprehensive range of services throughout the Dublin market. We will now be offering estate/OMC management services, student accommodation and property management services throughout the region. The acquisition represents quite a significant strengthening of resources, and we are confident of being in a position to offer further unique and exciting additional opportunities for our clients into the future.”
This is the latest acquisition for M&C, having previously acquired a number of property management businesses in the past. M&C are on course to establish itself as a leading national full service property provider. This is an exciting opportunity for both organisations, and we look forward to working together.
Since this acquisition M&C have made some changes internally to ensure we are ready for the next phase of growth. As part of this re-structuring programme, Sarah Leonard will be taking over as Managing Director for M&C Property and Donogh Madigan will be moving into the role of CEO.
